THE SEA RAY 290 SUNDECK EXTENDED FAMILY WELCOME

Knoxville, Tenn. Aug. 14, 2007 It’s not often that you invite your mother-in-law, her sisters and all
their rambunctious kids out for a day of on-water thrills. But you could if you wanted to on board the all-
new Sea Ray 290 Sundeck. Yes, it’s that big and bold.

This is the ultimate marine SUV for families and friends who like to have fun in a big way. Its
sturdy 29’6” length and 9’1” beam – carried farther forward than on a typical Sea Ray bow rider –
combine to create serious waterfront real estate in the spacious cockpit and contoured bow. Two
cushioned chaises up front conceal massive storage compartments for all your water toys and getaway
goodies. You’re always in the middle of the action on the cockpit’s port lounger, which showcases a
backrest that slides to face forward or aft, so you can work the crowd at either end of the boat. More party
people can laze on the starboard lounger, aft bench seat and single swiveling bucket helm seat with flip-
up thigh-rise bolster.

Entertaining is a hassle-free affair thanks to the cockpit wet bar, multiple beverage holders, ample
stowage and – get this – an optional stainless-steel gas grill. An insulated ice chest built into the bow,
removable cockpit table and carry-on cooler with designated storage come standard. Rock the boat with a
Clarion® stereo with CD player and digital remote, or pump up the volume with the optional Polk® MOMO
system and six-disc CD changer. For the tops in convenience you can even add an extra waterproof
remote control unit on the transom.

When it’s time for the wee ones to get out of the sun, the 290 Sundeck offers a roomy multifunctional
compartment just forward of the helm that’s perfect for sleeping, storage or even a quick
change of clothes for that beachside get together with the gang. The port side has an enclosed
compartment with a pump-out head and vanity with sink and mirror. There’s also a handy portlight here
for fresh air and ventilation.

At the tail end of the boat, an extended swim platform with concealed stainless-steel ladder
borders an enticing aft-facing transom bench seat. Think of it as your own private patio overlooking the
waves, the perfect perch from which to gear up for watersports or watch the kids splish-splash around …
or just to sit and enjoy a sundowner at sunset.

More than simply a family truckster, the 290 Sundeck takes to the water like a true Sea Ray sport
boat. A MerCruiser® 6.2 MPI Bravo® III with digital throttle and shifter puts 320 horses at your command,
getting you up on plane with smooth, effortless ease. Optional propulsion up to 425 horsepower is offered
for those who feel the need for more speed. The helm offers a beautiful dash panel with keyless ignition
and optional state-of-the-art 5” chartplotter. The wood-accented steering wheel includes integrated Vessel
Control System (VCS™) thumb pads that let you quickly scroll through stereo modes as well as check
your depth, trim position, fuel levels and other SmartCraft™ Diagnostic data.

When you invest in a new Sea Ray you not only get one of the world’s finest boats, you also
instantly become part of the Sea Ray Owner’s Club™. Entry into this elite organization comes with a
world of benefits and exclusive on-water events for members only. Join the Sea Ray family and begin to
truly experience the meaning of “where land ends, life begins.” Mother-in-laws optional.
